Mt. Qingcheng

Mt. Qingcheng, located about 15 kilometers from the southeast of Dujiangyan City Sichuan Provinceis dubbed 'the most peaceful and secluded mountain under heaven' ,covered with pure white snow. Boundless luxuriant forest and green trees in every season look like the outline of a city, so it enjoys the laudatory title "the green city".

The Mt. Qingcheng can be divided into two parts - the anterior Mt. Qingcheng and the posterior Mt. Qingcheng. The mountain consists of two parts - the anterior Mt. Qingcheng and the posterior Mt. Qingcheng. The anterior mountain is famous for its beautiful scenery and numerous cultural and historic sites, while the posterior mountain is noted for its paradisiacal scenery, which is primitive and brilliant, gorgeous and mysterious.

Qingcheng Mountain is the headstream of Chinese Taoism. Today 11 Taoism temples erects in the mountain, which were built in Jin Dynasty and in Tang Dynasty. The architecture style is nature, presenting the conception of Chinese Taoism.

Qingcheng Mountain is famous for its beauty and quietness. Round mountains, surrounding rivers, green peaks into cloud, haulting mist and cloud, quiet and deep tracks, etc are characteristic. Thick ancient forest shelder sun; cliff and precipice form a scenic spot; plank road built a cliff wound their ways; small bridge and purl; deep water-eroded cave and thousands pieces of mammary calculus; singing birds and fregrant flowers. Here, the ancient architectures are still well protected; every scenic spot and every thing are ancient, primary, supernatural, beautiful and full of charm.
